Reviewers consistently highlight the cafe’s pleasant atmosphere, enhanced by both indoor and outdoor seating options that allow guests to enjoy the coastal scenery. The menu offers a variety of fresh and tasty options, including classic British fare such as Ploughman’s and cream teas, catering to diverse tastes at reasonable prices. Service is generally described as friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming experience. Some feedback points to limited indoor seating during adverse weather and minor inconsistencies regarding payment methods and minimum card spend. Overall, the cafe is praised for its unique location, quality food, and warm service, making it a recommended spot for casual dining and scenic relaxation.
A unique spot with incredible views. If you happen to be in the area or rambling between Dover and Folkestone this is the perfect spot to visit for a snack. They accept cards, currently must be over £6.
First, the view! It is Incredible! Literally looking out over the channel with clear views of France. The food was great,I had a Ploughman's with a Peach ice tea which was presented on a platter, followed by a cream tea; scones,Jam & Cream. Service was friendly and there is a good selection of food on offer. Side note: We had previously accessed the cafe from below up the cliff path, this path is now closed with steel gates. Its a real shame as you would have to go about a mile out of your way from below to get up the cliff. Not the café's fault but not good.
What a lovely cafe, perched overlooking the Channel, good views up and down the coast. Great cup of tea, good food from a varied menu catering for all tastes, at reasonable prices. It is a short walk from their own carpark. Staff were friendly and the service was good. Indoor and outdoor seating offering spectacular views. A definite visit again place the next time we are down this way.
Just stopped for a coffee, food looked good. Maybe recent, but contrary to other reviews, they do take cards, minimum £5 spend.
A decent cafe, whose main attraction is the view over the channel and towards Folkestone. The food was fresh and tasty, though the menu is quite basic. There's not a lot of indoor seating if the weather is poor. There's a bit of a slope down to the cafe and they work on a cash only basis.
A wonderful place to visit and to sit and take in the wonderful Cliff Top Views over White Cliffs. You can see Folkestone in the distance. Only slight criticism is that the food n drink prices are expensive. But food n service is very good And there is free parking . Definitely worth a visit .
